Kickstarter Toys: ARMPAL 3D Board Game Review

Meet The ARMPAL: A 3D Wooden Sustainable Table Top Game

At first, we assumed this would be a "normal" board game but it's way more interesting than that. It's actually an entire robotic system you get to build at home AND to play with.

This might sound a little strange so let me show you a video of it in action:

As this was a Kickstarter campaign, the instructions had a few areas that needed to be improved but it was certainly doable (as Molly proved) and I am sure the final release will iron out any issues with instructions.

I had a lot of fun putting the robotic arm together! At the end of it all, I was so impressed with myself for being able to build a robotic arm in the first place.

It took some getting used to using the arms but she was quickly able to get good enough to play the number of games that come included with the ARMPAL - from using the claw to build structures with the wooden blocks provided to lifting sand with the bucket attachment.

The price of $118 USD is certainly fair and we could easily see the ARMPAL becoming a go-to board game at home. Plus, you will end up having your own robotic arm that can even be used for general tasks around the house!
