If, like me, you’re old...er, FGTeeV may be a complete mystery to you. Basically, it’s a hugely popular gaming YouTube channel aimed at kids who watch it in their millions, so they’re clearly doing something right.
As you’d expect from something so popular, there’s a whole range of toys out there for FGTeeV fans, all tied in with the content in their videos. Expect voice-changing microphones, fart flingers (seriously), buildable fun houses, zombie battles, and elevator parties.
I’m still not entirely sure I know what any of it means but I do know that kids who watch FGTeeV will love all of these toys. As always, we’ve ruled out any fake online reviews out there, so you can trust that these nine recommendations come from real people who have experienced and enjoyed this new online magnum opus.
1FGTeeV Presents: Into the Game!
This action-packed graphic novel, suitable for readers ages 8-12 years old, is a suspenseful story that follows the FGTeeV family on their next big adventure. Show character Moomy designs a new video game, “My Pet Fish,” for her video game-loving family. When the boring game sucks Moomy and Duddy in, Lexi, Mike, Chase, and Shawn have to rescue their parents. The characters battle through some of their favorite video games, taking on vampire prairie dogs and other frightful opponents. Their greatest goal is to rescue Moomy and Duddy from the loathsome “My Pet Fish” game before they are literally bored to death.
What we love
- Readers are engrossed with how the story will resolve, which inspires reading
- The story and illustrations are so well-done that children will read it over and over again
What We Don't Like That Much
- We wish all of the show's characters, like Funnel Boy, were included in the plot
2FGTeeV Saves the World!
This exciting novel will keep your emerging reader engrossed in the action of FGTeeV, but without screen time. The story follows the FGTeeV family as they battle avatars from their favorite video game, “Super Realistic (And Totally Not Made Up) Zombie Battles from the War of 1812.” When the game freezes, the family heads to the mall to have it fixed, at which point the game's avatars come to life; the family has to fight the avatars to save the world. This page-turner will further immerse your child in the action of their favorite YouTube family.

Notably, the Fart Flinger is trigger-activated and is simple to use for children as young as 3 years old. This buildable Funnel Boy Fun House will keep your child busy for hours. To begin with, children will have a blast constructing the house from scratch with the interlocking, colorful blocks. The set includes instructions for replicating the funhouse, however, the blocks can be used to build creative structures as well. With nearly 500 pieces, the building possibilities are endless. The set also includes three articulating mini-figures: Duddy, Funnel Boy, and Shawn. The mini-figures can be used to recreate show scenes or imagine all new ones.
