Kids of seven are building up their ability to concentrate for longer periods and reading is an essential part of this stage in their development. It builds vocabulary and confidence and helps them disappear into their imaginations. Kids have usually picked up a few interests by the time they hit the seven-year mark, so choosing the right book to buy for a gift can be daunting.

So to help, we‘ve done the research and come up with this list of the 10 best books for seven-year-olds. We picked the books with the highest ratings from real parents and dropped any that had fake reviews.
